SAC

The School Advisory Council (SAC) is a volunteer organization that receive their authority from the Education Act (2018) and are an integral part of Nova Scotia public schools.

They provide parents/guardians, school staff, community members, and, when appropriate, students with a voice to influence decisions that impact student learning.

As advisory bodies, SACs bring partners together to provide principals and Regional Centres of Education with advice that reflects the best interests of the students from the point of view of the school community.

Additional information on SACs can be found at the following link: https://www.ccrce.ca/sac
